a thing for ties: an excuse to pimp tomapi

Friends: If you think we've got similar interests, feel free. Just leave me a comment so I will add you back. Cool with defriending if you find we've got nothing much in common after all.

About: This journal is mostly flocked rl flail. My fandom includes Ikuta Toma, NEWS, KAT-TUN, most recently Kanjani8 :D and Heechul/Kibum/Eetuek of Suju (how are they so gorgeous). Otherwise, I have not much to offer except the occasional random photograph.

taking a break from all seriousness
NO SHIT.

ASPOIDUA;SLFJA;ODSFUA'SL;DKA;SODJKA;SLKDJ;ALKSJD WHY THE FUCK WAS I NOT WATCHING CHINA VS. SINGAPORE I WOULD HAVE BEEN A RIDICULOUS SIGHT TO WATCH AHAHA *FLAILS*

(...I'm the "entertainment" at football games)

Although right now I'm just going all LOL at you know -- it was basically Chinese vs overseas-Chinese and asoidals;kdjasd China just pwns everyone else's ass at table-tennis every Olympics? I see some strange irony in that the strengths I see in both are that the countries' dependence on people. They delayed the broadcast of the Rally Speech -- so amused, desperados, because they know people would rather watch the Olympics. I want a transcript of that for the first time, hmmm.

little things
omg alskjd I swear I'll catch up with my comments soon, urgh. I had to get that off my chest yesterday and I slept maybe half-hour more than usual :) So that was good.

I've been going to this second hand bookshop around the corner for coffee and chillin' a couple of times and bought maybe two or three used books while I was there. It's a nice place and they play nice music and there is coffee

Today I was cleaning my room because I needed to vacuum the floor even though I'm only moving out in two weeks, and organizing myself is extremely rewarding *__* I put everything away into nice pretty plastic folders I bought a long time ago (see my procrastination) and put my insane amount of makeup products I bought for gifts into shoeboxes. There is also lots of instant coffee, tea and ramen in paperbags a;lksjd college kid. So, I was packing and throwing crap away.

I found this adorable little card with trees and clouds and a bit of blue sky.

SUCCESS )

This little thingy came from a bookshop in Frankenmuth, Michigan ♥ Somehow, it was just what I needed.

newsflash: fireworks spot hunting is a sport
NEW HEADER :D

HAPPY 43RD BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!

It's National Day today, and this is why I have to flail. I'm "patriotic" (seeing how I have not contributed to the economy nor the army rofl), even though I'm not really Singaporean because I haven't tried laksa before (because it looks spicy okay) and I totally don't know where all the good food haunts are, therefore I fail, and I'm named the "Mountain Turtle" by all my friends. I totally psyched myself up at work today listening to Sing Singapore songs! :D I've got a feeling most of my flist will gloss over a post like this, but Singapore isn't all about bad grammar and unintelligible slangs :)

This will always be my favourite National Day Song. Home, by Kit Chan. Her hair is flaming red and her voice is just gorgeous! This is another version of the same song by a children's choir a;slkdjasdlkj so fucking beautiful. The music has always been the biggest part of National Day for me -- given I'd rather be blind and sexless than deaf :D

Cut for the video and --
Why it's a Big Thing. )
Oh and by the way, the highlights are the fireworks. Every. Fucking. Year. ♥____♥
AND A;ALSKDJA;SLDKNASL;DK I JUST FOUND OUT I CAN WATCH LIVE STREAMING I AM STAYING UP TONIGHT *___*

We are a rainbow of a thousand colours
Lighting up the sky

The thing that people always say about not knowing the true value of something until you have lost it, it is true. I should be filial and call home today, neh, I should let my granny know I'm alive!

Thank you, Singapore, for being so small, because now I want to see the world )
